haven't because we should, but we're actually doing a year in review. So we're going to tell you what

we read, watched, listened to this month, but then also our faves of the year. Looking back on all

the things we've reviewed,

what has really stuck with us. So true. I feel like we should do that at the end, right? Let's save that for the end. Okay. Amazing. The first book that I read this month, I really liked it. It was called Rouge, and it was kind of like the substance coded and that it's like about this woman who's like obsessed with her skin and like her skin care and like staying

her skin care and like staying useful. Is it by Mona? Yeah. Yeah. It's it was so good. Mona Ewad,

I think. Yeah. I read something else by her. Yeah. I really liked it. I actually thought it was like

almost better than the substance like in terms of it's like commentary. And she like finds this like mysterious spa where

they invite her to like do this treatment basically. And like it's about her journey with like beauty.

And I it actually was just like so engrossing, so interesting, super unique. I really,

really liked it. And I thought it was like a fun read and easy read. But also I wasn't like,

ugh, after I read it like, why did I just waste my time reading that fun read, an easy read. But also I wasn't like, oh, after I read it.

Like, why did I just waste my time reading that? Yeah, totally. Wow. Love it. I think they're turning something of her. I'm trying to think of what I read by her. What was the other? I know. Because her name was familiar to me when I looked. Oh, she wrote that book Bunny. Bunny. And I'm totally thinking of a different book that I think was called Mona. But I've heard a lot about her. Bunny, I think was her like hit. I think that went off on TikTok or something. I love these like horrors that are like the substance code. Like I do think like the way she writes the prose about like I'm using the like doy skin glow for lips and shit and just like the language about it and how much time we spend like thinking about it.

I don't know.

It's just I know that people have written like horror stuff about beauty before, but we're in such a new age that's so like cyborgian that I just appreciate like all the commentary.
