So much happening in the stratosphere of Penn State, not exactly Penn State

Centric, but you know there's a lot of stuff going on right now. This is the

Lions 24-7 podcast. I'm Sean Fitz. Tyler Donahue is with me. New coach at Ohio State, Urban Meyer is going to retire after the Rose Bowl. New coach at Maryland, Mike Loxley is officially in for that thing that we expected for the last month. Penn State had the nation's top

prospect in town and hey guess what Penn State's got a bowl game to come to or to go to.

We were going to come to you earlier this week but since these things just kept

stacking on top of one

another finally we're getting to you Tyler it's been a busy week it's not exactly

Penn State you know it's not all Penn State but there's a lot of Penn State ties in what's going on right now.

Yeah I mean and then you throw in the fact that there's this conversation about the big

ten and the big ten's approach to the college football playoff and obviously that is

in Penn State's jurisdiction here as well.

So like I said before we came on the podcast, it feels like there's so many fringe news stories

breaking every day or developments breaking that don't necessarily directly involve Penn State but you know it's it's kind of a

a correlative thing now whether it's Ohio State or Maryland obviously that's big on the recruiting turf

and I think you know we're going to get into the bowl game conversation a little bit today one of the things is you know will a couple of Kentucky's best players actually be in that

bowl game because their draft stock looks pretty high so we'll talk

about that but it's an interesting time you know we got what two weeks now until the early

signing period well a lot of you are focused on Christmas many of us are focused in on who the heck is going to end up with this Penn State class and obviously our 24-7 network has done a great job keeping everyone informed on the latest there but we got plenty to talk

about on this podcast today.

Yeah I'm looking at my family calendar right now big letters circled on the 19th

is signing day.
