Gene and cohost Tim Swartz feature a visit from Paul Seaburn, author of "What Would You Say to a Naked Alien?" The book is a collection of his favorite reports of encounters with quirky extraterrestrials that turned out to be more fun than fearsome, and his thoughts about what he — and you — might do in the same situations. 0:42.3	But today, I think we're going to take a trip into the paranormal that's preceded by some

0:50.0	Now, humor is not something we do normally on the show.
0:54.0	I just do silly disc jockey puns, and most people say,
0:57.6	oh my God, he's doing that again, and maybe we should just switch the station.
1:02.1	But today I've got somebody who, by dint of his reputation,
1:07.9	is someone really funny.
1:10.5	He's even worked as a stand-up comic. That's Paul Seaburn. Paul, welcome
1:15.0	to the Paracass. Thank you, Gene. Great to be here. Great to talk to you. Now, I'm going to ask this
1:24.1	as we progress, but looking at your background, it's all comedy.
1:30.3	You did stand up.
1:31.8	Did you continue to stand up, or is this something that you just did years ago?
1:37.1	I was in the computer business in Houston, Texas.
1:42.5	I'm originally from Cleveland, Ohio, which is why I'm at right now. I made it all
1:45.8	the way back there. We can talk about that later, why anyone would do that. I was in Houston,
1:50.6	Texas. I was working in a computer business, giving a lot of presentations. I was known as the
1:56.3	funny guy, so I was trying to keep up my reputation, and I went to a comedy club and saw a class on comedy writing.
2:05.6	And that sounded like something I could kill some time at and maybe learn something.
