it just feels to me like it's a little biased towards scenes that are good at special

teams but on the other hand maybe that's a smart team or red zone teams uh because again

that's that the metric the points you score versus yards

but to me that carries two stats this one and the pass ring differential i don't know if he

started with the numbers that produced results on the field or is he starting with the results

on the field and working his way backwards like how do you explain the patriot success how do you

explain good team success either way i buy I buy into both. Like the pass-a-rating thing, Murray, as you must imagine with me, I think that's the mother of all stats as he calls him, and I agree with it. Because I think that league is all about how you pass the ball and how you defend the pass. And the running game in the middle is just a sidebar. is just sort of a compliment that's not really essential. If you have great running games or great run defense, you will get smoked by teams that pass the ball and defend the pass. And his stat proves it. I mean, it does. But I don't know if he started with the stat and worked his way forward or worked his way backward from the teams that ultimately emerge.

But either way, philosophically, that's what I believe in football.

And the intelligence thing, I 100% believe because I'm a big believer that talent-wise,

decisions but if you're like the bills and you rack up how many yards of offense, three, four hundred yards of offense and score three points, there's only one explanation. You suck in the red zone or you turn the ball over, you committed penalty. Like it's just, so I think it's logical. Anyway, you hit on that.
