I was at McDonald's this morning, and there's a guy at another table,

and I was getting ready for this show. I was working, working, working. And he had his at another table and he was I was getting ready for this show I was

working working yeah and he had his Bible open and he was reading okay that's pretty cool

mm-hmm um and that always that always triggers like a guilt thing for me because I'm always feeling

like I don't I don't spend enough time I don't like do like a morning devotional like some people do

and I salute that I think it's great yeah they

just don't but just in case you're somebody who's who identifies with me on this like you're

constantly feeling guilty about that please understand I'm not saying I'm not saying don't read the

Bible or don't free the opposite of that is what I believe, okay?

But that said, I saw this quote that I thought was really freeing to me.

So I thought I would share it with you.

The measure, the main measure of your devotion to God is not your devotional life.

It's simply your life.

Yeah.

I really like that.

John Orteborg said that.

And it's like, we can just beat ourselves up all day if we don't.

Because somebody else, even if you're doing a half hour, somebody's doing an hour.
