Lots to talk about today. Let's start with the Steelers game last night, a gentlemanly affair. Oh, my goodness. The NFL having a banner week. I watched, it's funny, I was watching the Celtics game. And when the Celtics game was done, I flipped over. And when I got there, it was, what, 10-0, the Bengals. And I'm like, all right, this is amazing, awesome. There's no way the Bengals are winning this game. And then, of course, they score another touchdown. I think it was 17-0-0. Andy Dalton looked like an NFL quarterback for the first half. I was stunned. But we all knew that it wasn't going to stand. Like, that there was no possible way the Bengals were going to win last night. Marvin Lewis stands on the sideline with that dumb face. No, here's why I thought that Cincinnati might win is because Shazir got hurt. It doesn't, it didn't matter. Hang on a second. Yeah, it does. And let me explain why. Is that, yeah, normal injury, no. But when they, imagine if you're on a team they're crying

0:56.0

I mean it Shazir got taken off

0:58.1

and by the way McDonough

0:59.8

making some pronouncements right away

1:01.9

okay we need to play some of the McDonough stuff later on

1:04.2

because even when he's trying to be like

1:06.2

Mr. Stern like he just sounds

1:08.1

like the weakest man in the room

1:09.6

shame shame on these people

1:12.7

this is not a good night for the nfl yeah and then he was like and he doesn't appear how do you always

1:18.0

look at me when you do that you love Sean McDonough but did you see when she's ear was down and he goes

1:23.3

like well he's certainly not moving his legs yeah well, well, you're like, what? And like in that tone of voice. Yeah, the Shazir hit, though, was something that wasn't dirty. No, no, no, it wasn't dirty. But the rest of the game was, but the Shazir one, if he didn't see it, he goes to go tackle who the hell was it? It was Josh Malone, receiver for the Bengals. And he goes head first, just directly into

1:46.3

the back of Malone, and it's almost like a squeeze box. You just see his neck getting crushed.

1:51.1

And he ended up having what's called a spinal contusion, some swelling it's involved. Anytime

1:56.0

the word spinal is thrown in there, it's terrifying. But I guess that all the reports have, you know, words such as could have

2:03.4

been worse, you know, this is a, not best-meas scenario, hopefully.

2:07.2

He's going to play again, but you see that, and it's terrifying.

2:10.9

I mean, it's terrifying.

2:11.9

Okay, so that's why I thought Cincinnati might take this game, because, I mean, when you have a teammate, an important teammate,

2:20.0

well, I suppose that doesn't matter.

2:21.3

But when you see a teammate taken out of a game on a stretcher and you don't know if he's got something very, very serious going on and you're sitting on the bench crying,

2:31.2

I would imagine that that, because then Cincinnati turned around and scored.
