Like last week I was talking to Chris about something where I'm sure some people would object when I said, gee, how do they do fact-checking of oral traditions?

Which may sound like nonsense, although I think there was something reasonable about it,

which is, of course, if you're passing down something that you want to be conveyed accurately

from generation to generation over the years, how do you verify that what they're saying is correct?

It represents the original story, whatever it is.

It's kind of a catch-22, isn't it?

Yeah.

So that's what we call oral tradition fact-checking.

Now, having said that, I think we're going to really hear it from people.

Now, speaking of hearing it from people, it's an interesting contrast here.
