Why do you always bring up that movie?

You love that movie, don't you?

It's just something about what happens.

It's such a cheesy piece of crap that movie.

But something that was said, which probably is not far from any kind of reality, which is

president, played by Bill Pullman, says to his Secretary of State or Secretary of Defense,

during their first exposure to Area 51, you knew about this all these years and you didn't tell me,

and the guy says, well, it's plausible deniability. I started wondering, you know, in the real world,

when Bush became President, Obama, whatever,

does somebody from some intelligence agency go there and talk to the president and say,

here is something you need to know that you haven't heard about before.

It's not in your intelligence briefings.

Or is that the situation where the president is the last on the food chain to know about things that maybe aren't public and shouldn't be public?

Well, if we're talking about, let's say, the UFO stuff, I have to imagine any president coming into the position.

This is like the last thing on their plate.

This is the last thing of interest to them.

This is the very last thing they're thinking about in terms of work to be done.

I think people who are interested in this topic really need to get their brains wrapped around

the idea that for most people, all of these topics are completely peripheral to their lives. They have nothing, it has

very little appeal outside of, you know, curiosity's sake, just sort of, and basic curiosity

...
