on the evening of December 20th, 1968. Betty Lou Jensen was 16. She was an honor roll student and had been seeing 17-year-old David Faraday.

The official story goes that they met just the week before at a church function, but rumors surfaced later claiming that they had been secretly dating for months.

Either way, that night was their first
