Merry Christmas! "Gone Fishing," one of the early dramas Focus produced, featured two actors who would later become familiar names on Adventures in Odyssey: Chuck Bolte and Hal Smith. Chuck Bolte was executive producer on the show during the majority of its first decade and Hal Smith, of course, became the first voice of John Avery Whittaker. 0:45.3	mid-1980s. While they aren't part of the Adventures in Odyssey canon, and they don't
0:49.5	feature Odyssey characters, they set the stage for the show we know and love.
0:53.6	And as you'll soon hear, these dramas featured actors who became major cast members on Adventures
0:58.7	in Odyssey. Gone Fishing was released on July 23, 1986, a little over a year before Odyssey
