Had some friends over last night. We're talking about marriage. And they've been married seven years.

We've been married a lot longer than that. And I was like, you know what? What's weird is you can be married a long time of somebody.

And you're still figuring it out.

Like it didn't matter. 15, 20, 30, 40 years.

Because a human being is a very complex thing to relate to.

I mean, all of us are. Even if we had like, no, I'm just simple. Like,

try to live with yourself. You're complex thing. Same thing goes with your relationship with God.

I like this now, but I didn't like the idea before when I was younger. I guess I always thought

you'd hit this point where you'd have a relationship with God and then it's like, oh, I hit the thing, now I got it. But it's not

like that. It's more like a relationship like a marriage. You can spend your whole life learning more

about God, new facets of him, new wonderful about him it's like you're you're

exploring this this whole area and it never ends it's one new thing after another

I like that I think it's good to get to think about that too because it means

there's no finish line you think you're just done no it's he's

better than that but man this is a long journey and uh it's it's a good one yeah in christian circles

sometimes people will be like and then i did all that bad stuff and now uh everything's awesome

i have my relationship with god like it's a box you check. Like I got a relationship with God.

And I have found, we were just talking about this. I found it's not a box you can check. It's like this,

I think God's like this incredible land you explore and you keep finding out more about it. And you keep

exploring. And so if somebody's like, yeah, I figured it out. Like, dude, keep exploring and so if somebody's like yeah I figured it out like dude
