Greg, the standard question will ask you that we asked everybody else yesterday,

0:27.5

including ourselves. The Patriots Performance Monday night in Miami, was that a one-off fluke performance or cause for concern?

0:34.6

Mostly it was a one-off. I mean know watching back the film a couple things that stood out

0:39.9

number one to me it felt like one of those games where i think the coaches were working ahead on

0:46.4

pittsburgh a little bit at least partly and why do you think that because there wasn't really

0:53.0

look they just played them two weeks ago.

0:55.8

You had to think, normally the way the Patriots coaches think is, okay, they try to anticipate

1:02.3

what the other coaches are going to do.

1:04.8

And they went out there and sort of ran the same stuff like they figured they were

1:08.4

going to see the same stuff on both sides of the ball again. And it was just kind of, you know, just kind of out there. I mean, the way Brady played, and I'll just say that Brady's performance in that game was one of the worst I've ever seen from him. It was, yeah. He had open guys in that game. So that's a statement. I thought it was the worst I'd seen in a while.

1:28.5

I don't know if you say ever?

1:32.9

Well, I mean, at least in, you know, recent years.

1:33.4

Yeah, okay.

1:35.2

Pre-garopolo?

1:36.9

Maybe.

1:39.9

But to me, you know, that came from a couple different things. Number one, Brady looked like he didn't anticipate the coverages that Miami was going to come. It reminded me of the Pittsburgh game at Pittsburgh, where all of a sudden LeBow came out in Pressman, and he kind of threw him off for most of the game. And it was that same sort of thing. I don't think they anticipated Miami. I mean, look, you went into that game. The Patriots coaches had to think, okay, we don't have Rob Gunkowski. If you were the Dolphins, how are you going to play us? And what Miami did is pretty much what you would anticipate, but the Patriots didn't do that. And so they came out, the press man, cover one robber, all that stuff. I think it threw the Patriots for a loop.

And then the other thing is, and we've talked about it in terms of maybe getting Brady

2:22.5

out of some of these games earlier, is the accumulation of pressure and hits.

2:27.9

It has an effect.
