I'm almost always on time, but Max, my co-host Max Blumenthal, is often running late. And usually

he doesn't have a good excuse,

but today he actually does have a pretty good excuse. He got locked out of his house. So he'll be

joining us in a few minutes, but I didn't want to start even later than we already started.

And today we're going to talk about a story. You've probably seen all over mainstream corporate media, which is just really ridiculous,

this idea of Havana syndrome, which really, honestly, I think at this point, it's just totally fabricated.

There's absolutely no evidence of it whatsoever.

There's no scientific basis.

The only so-called evidence of Havana

syndrome that was presented, again, evidence and scare quotes by the U.S. government ended up

being crickets. It was a recording that the U.S. government claimed was some kind of sonic attack,

and it actually ended up being crickets. And there are scientists, leading scientists,

who are experts who have said that, if anything, this is likely an example of mass psychosis.

It's totally a psychotic break that these CIA agents are having and these State Department

officials.

So when Max gets here, we'll talk more about that. But I'll begin this stream today while I'm waiting on Max, looking at a story,

an immediate outlet that usually I wouldn't trust much because they have done their share

of echoing the U.S. State Department, of pushing Russiagate,

of supporting every single war dutifully.

I'm talking about BuzzFeed, the media outlet that they got it start doing listicles about what the best makeup is and vacation resorts and Harry Potter character.

And now they have a pretty substantial reporting. vacation resorts and Harry Potter character.
