Well, so I was preparing for today's show.

I was brought back to a story from about 20 years ago.

I worked in the fitness industry for many years, and there was a point where I was managing

a group fitness department with a really nice health club system, and we were in a manager's

meeting, and the VP came in to do this manager training, and he told us to take out a notepad,

and he said, I want you to finish this statement as many times as you need to.

You're on your deathbed, 95 years old, right?

I wish I would have and finish the statement.

And he gave us time to think about it.

I didn't need to think about it.

The first thing I wrote was I wish I would have written a book. And I knew even though I love

my job, I love fitness, I could pray for my instructors, I loved our members. I just knew

that God was calling me in a different direction. And that was 20 books ago. Can you believe it? But

when I got home, I told Kev, I got to do something

different. So we looked at our bills, our budget, and we made some strategic plans for when I

could quit. And then I ventured in to the world of writing. And it changed everything for me.
