I'm your host, retired NYPD sergeant bill cannon 27 year veteran of the

NYPD you know folks we did part one of this story you see on the screen right now uh debor and

chris stirrens discuss stephan's dysfunction his relationship with Jennifer.

But what we wanted to do tonight was part two of this and talk about more of Stefan Stearns' sort of dysfunction.

And the part that his parents played in this and how we we spoke about the

last time how he lied about his the times and the locations and about the outstanding

investigation that the Kassemi investigators did as well as the Orange County Sheriff's Office,

just outstanding, outstanding investigation.

And you realize when we go over all of Stefan Stearns'

his testimony and his interviews about how many times he was lying.

He was not telling the truth and how good and how prepared

and how they didn't totally react to what he was saying when they knew

he was lying they just kept letting him lie and that's what a good investigator does a good

investigator just lets the liar keep lying you. And when we realize his parents, Chris and Deborah Sterns,

you see a picture of them up on the screen, you know, they knew all about the relationship

that he had with Jennifer Soto. They knew all about the relationship,

apparently, that he had with Madeline Soto. And when I hear them speak, you know, they seem like

regular, ordinary mom and pop and good people but somewhere buried in

their parenting was they were enablers they enabled uh stephan stearns to be or become

the monster that he absolutely did become.

And I don't think that you can totally blame them,
