This is a really special episode that I'm introducing now.

It was Deborah Keegan's idea to get all these people

in a room together and put everyone on my podcast. And I'll explain why. Deborah, who I'll

introduce in a second, wrote an article for the Modern Love column in the New York Times,

which was then published by Daniel Jones, the editor of the Modern

Love column. The column was about a couple, Justin McLeod, who's the founder and CEO of the

dating app Hinge, and his now wife, Kate McLeod, who's the founder of the Bodystone.

So everybody got together in my office here, and we all talked about how the essay has now been put in a book that's a collection of essays, also called Modern Love, True Stories of Love, Loss, and Redemption, which just came out.

And this episode, this essay, has actually been made into one episode of the new Amazon streaming series of the same name, which is debuting on October 18th.

Does that make any sense to anybody?
