Summary

The Republican debates without Donald Trump have seemed like a total joke.  Until last night.  These things actually served a purpose as Ron DeSantis has clearly separated himself from the others.  I'd be all for the others bailing and let voters decide if they want Trump or DeSantis on the ballot.  Oh, and pitbull Vivek Ramaswamy has done us all a HUGE favor the past few months.  I'll explain.    The state of Kansas has a nearly $3billion surplus and they seem to want to spend it.  This is the worst idea, ever.  Please, please somebody in charge listen to what I think the state should do.    Comedian Bill Burr just roasts libs and host Jimmy Kimmel on Kimmel's show.  It's really good and I've got it for you.    Nick Bolton was a full participant in practice for the Chiefs Wednesday.  Patrick Mahomes may have too much freedom in this offense and KSU fans have a freak out kind of bad day.    The Royals off season is as bad as their record and the tv show Yellowstone has more drama as the creator is suing the company of one of the actors.

I've concluded that Republican primary debates without Donald Trump are a lot like when the Saints play

0:22.8

the Panthers in the NFL? You know, everybody's in the same division. They play multiple

0:28.3

times in a year. Nobody watches. But if something interesting happens, if a fight breaks out,

0:34.3

if somebody gets hurt, somebody gets ejected, or there's an incredible highlight,

0:38.7

we'll all see it. You'll all eventually see the highlight, even from like a Saints

0:44.1

Packers game, Panthers game, a game that nobody really watches. That's what the debates are.

0:50.0

Nobody's watching these debates. This debate occurred on News Nation on Wednesday night, and I'm sick,

0:56.4

so I watched it and watched a lot of it. And I was entertained by it and I enjoyed it. Maybe you

1:02.7

did. If not, the reason you listen to this podcast is for me to give you a little, I don't know,

1:07.3

a little recap of what happened because there is something important that happened on Wednesday night.

1:11.5

And I think this is very important. But again, nobody watched this. It's really the 48-hour, probably news cycle afterwards that is the important part.

1:20.5

As people are talking about what happened, and we see the little clips. That's where Vivek always wins.

1:24.8

The little snippets and clips on the Internet because he's wild at these debates.

1:27.9

He's always throwing 10-second haymakers, and so it gets a lot of social media presence.

1:33.0

Look, this is really simple on this Pearl Harbor Day where we remember,

1:37.5

as we're on the brink of perhaps more war in Europe and things like that,

1:41.6

that in 1941, on December 6th, 80% of Americans were against

1:46.7

being in a war that was taking place in Europe and threatening in Asia and all these different

1:52.0

places. And then Pearl Harbor happened and we were all in. And so we should remember that on this day.

1:57.4

But there are some high stakes today as well, and a lot of these were brought

2:01.0

forward in this debate. And one of the things that I noticed about this particular debate is
