You're familiar with Phil Barr, more than likely, because Phil has been on the program before.

Welcome back, Phil. Appreciate you coming on.

Thanks. Thanks. Good to be here. I want people to be aware of your book. I was honored to be asked to write the forward to that book. And it is really about the topic today. Is the God of Calvinism morally abhorrent or is at least the implications of Calvinism does it make God appear to be evil? And this was part of Calvin's desperation, really,

is to try to justify his own deterministic views as theology with his view of God. And you get into that quite a bit, even in

the book Calvin's Desperation, isn't that right? Yes. Yeah, I have a chapter called,

Will the Real Author of Evil please stand up? Yeah, and that's one of the reasons I had,

Phil, to come on today to talk through this debate. And many of you have seen it online. It's come up quite a bit

between a Mormon, Jacob Hanson, and one of our favorite interlocutors in the Calvinistic world,

Dr. James White, had a debate over whether the God of Calvinism is morally reprehensible, abhorrent,

whatever words you want to use there.

And it was an interesting discussion to say the least.

But Phil and I've been messaging back and forth and wanting to do this.

And before we jump into it, I do want to say thanks for those who support this ministry.
