It was the mother load that Congress, journalists, and many others have been seeking for years.

President Trump's tax returns dating back more than two decades.

And yet on Sunday, the New York Times revealed he'd had them, laying out the tangled finances,

sketchy practices, and huge debts that have been the hallmark of Trump's business career

since day one.

The big headline, of course, is that Trump only paid $750 in federal income taxes,

the year he was elected president, and the same amount, again, his first year in office.

What more can be learned from this examination of the records that Trump has fought for years

to keep secret?
