Greetings, parish orphans and retrogrades. Today is Friday, February the 11th, and it is a special

day here on Rules for Retrogrades because we have a moderated debate. I'm used to being the

debate or not the moderator. I will be the mod, But it's also a special date. And of course,

we chose this day purposeively because it is the nine year anniversary of the announced

resignation by Benedict the 16th today, February the 11th, 2013, a faded day in recent world and church history, world, world historical

date, red letter date. And in, I won't say honor, but in notoriety of the day, we're going to have

some facts only style rules for retrogrades debate. That that's what we do here just just the facts

as much as we can glean them excise them cut the the meat from the bone and give it to you guys

the the meat hungry parish orphans and retrogrades out there. So not on a Friday. We'll have a meatless Friday,

but this is your proverbial meat from the bone. So we have two debaters of distinguished stature,

and we appreciate both of their time. I'm going to be describing for the next couple of minutes the way that we'll proceed here.

It's not going to be overly formal or anything, but we do have to observe some basic rules of time,

and we'll observe some basic etiquetteal norms, which is to say introduce them.

Our very debate is this. Are you ready for it?

Here's what it is. The resignation of Benedict the 16th was invalid due to substantial error resolved, right?
