Last Friday, one week ago, gosh, I can't believe that was one week ago now. The time is funny. So one week ago today, we were in Florida

and I was debating, I guess it was started technically in a few hours. It started this debate at seven,

really eight. And Jay Dyer and I debated three topics. Of course, the first topic of the debate

was the act as purest, God as pure act. I reviewed really thoroughly, I think satisfyingly, from my perspective, that debate topic yesterday, and we had some great super chats on it.

Today I want to review debate topic two, Philly O'Quay, Spiration, how does this all work? Generally speaking, I would agree that this was the segment,

the single segment that Jay carried, even ChatGPT said carried it definitively. I felt,

I felt bad about my performance here. When I

re-looked at it, I felt better, but not better in the sense that I think I carried it. For one

thing, he's like an expert on it. So it would have been a dropping of the ball for him to not carry it.

Remember, I'm not a trained theologianian and I'm not a self-trained

theologian either. Aside from few areas, I'm a trained metaphysician, trained Catholic

philosopher. So it would have been a dropping of the ball if I had not carried the pure act

part. You just can't really self-trained in metaphysics. It's just not how

that works. And as I found out, it's tough to, when you're going up against Jay Dyer, who knows

the filial, knows all the little angles, to beat him on that. Now, and it's all kinds of
