going into yesterday's game was a lot of people thought this is going to be a bounce back game for them

or not bounce back but continuation of what they did against the chargers and go out there and get their season back on track. And obviously that was not the case. But you're going to start to hear it. You heard boomer talking about it this morning about, oh, people are going to want dable fired. And you and I have talked about this ad nauseum for a while. It is setting up to where the giants are going to be in a situation where they're probably going to make the same mistake that we saw coming a mile away. And that's something I would not do.

And that's something I would not do. And that is judging Daible now on the wins or losses and moving on from him. You have to understand it's a rookie quarterback. Those type things are going to happen. Okay, you lost to a team. Maybe you thought you could beat. Not so much. Saints get the win down there. but I would still just evaluate and be patient and treat it as almost a year one with Brian Dable and a rookie quarterback. I think you got to separate a couple things here, South. Number one, without Malik neighbors, I mean, this season's going nowhere. I mean, I understand that there was a lot of excitement going into the game. The Giants were, kind of in the eyes of some supposed to win, certainly had a good chance to win, should have won. Once you saw most of the game, you say to yourself, Giants got to find a way to finish

this game.

And if they would have done that, now you're two and three, getting ready for the Eagles,

kind of, you know, clustering near 500.

There's legitimate hope. Like when I say you got to separate everything,

you got to separate the coach, you got to separate the quarterback. My problem is with the defense

yesterday. Like this is what I just don't understand about the New York Giants. Like one week it's

there, one week it's invisible, and I don't know why. I don't think Brian Daeble is a good head coach.

I've said that forever.

I would not have brought him back this year.

But like you say, I'm also willing to give him and Jackson Dart a chance to grow together.

So it's not about firing Daible today.
