But I actually, even today, still feel like I was serving a really important purpose.

Which was what?

Was to recoup the funds into the economy that the banks and the lenders have let go to the wayside. The dirty little

secret is that the stat that these people have, somebody has to pay for that.

This is death, sex, and money.

71 million adults in the U.S. have debt in collections.

When a bill or loan goes unpaid for several months, the debt gets transferred to a collection agency.

It shows up on your credit report. You might get collection notices in the mail, and the calls start coming.

Typically, on the front of the screen, you're going to be given the person's name, their address,

length of delinquency, if they've made any payments.
