Courage. You know her as the author of the great mystery series

that involve Golden Girls. And she said, hey, my book comes out June 2nd. Can you help? And I was like,

yes. And so I immediately read it. I mean, she sent me a copy. And I for some reason thought it

came out like later, but I was wrong. Comes out June 2nd, which is very exciting. So she sent me at the audiobook and I listened. I binged it. Loved it. Loved every second of it. And then her and I had a little chat, which is what you're going to be listening to today. But Carrie is on the Rusty Anchor Happy Hour today. Her and I had a quick sort of unhinged, truly an unhinged conversation. Carrie had to, she was on her nightly walk and that's where we recorded it from crazy. Now, this is the follow up to her very successful. I mean, it was a New York Times

best-selling book, which that means there's a lot of Golden Girls fans out there that want

these Golden Girls mysteries. And so, of course, she had to write another one. Now, the last book

focused a lot on Rose and also on Dorothy. This one focuses mostly on Blanche, and Dorothy's a part of it, too.

Also, by popular demand, Stan makes an appearance in this one as well.

This is so fun.

I can't, and I'm not saying this because I love Rachel and I love what she's doing.

I thoroughly, genuinely mean it.

It is just one of, it's just, it's just, it for a Golden Girls fan, it just makes, makes it's like the girls i'm getting a different

side of the girls i told rachel that that like reading about reading her books sort of allows me

to see the girls in a totally different way because you know of course we know the actresses

and we know the characters really well from the television show but there's something about

the art of reading about the girls

that, like, makes them more human in a lot of ways. And Rachel does it so, so well. So we chatted

about where she got the idea for this book and the story for this book. What's great about this one
