Summary

Huey P. Long was a controversial Louisiana governor and senator in the 1920s and 30s.  In August 1935, Long announced that he intended to run for President the following year. One month later he was killed by an assassin in the Louisiana state house. Questions still remain about his death.

For those of you who are not familiar with the story was governor of Louisiana for a long time. He was also a U.S. senator.
