Summary

This classic episode of “48 Hours" reports on Catherine Woods, an aspiring dancer, who moved to New York in 2002 in search of fame and fortune. She became involved with fitness instructor Paul Cortez. On Thanksgiving weekend in 2005, Catherine was savagely murdered.  Cortez became a suspect in her murder. “48 Hours" correspondent Erin Moriarty reports.
