To shine light on the story of Eric Cates, his beloved dog Gypsy in the town of Empire

located in Walker County, Alabama.

I know many of you have been waiting for far too long for an update on the Eric Cates

and Gypsy case.

Unfortunately, this isn't going to be the update you are all looking for.

Eric's case is still an active investigation with the Alabama Attorney General's office,

and we still have full faith that his case is in the right hands now and are looking

forward to hopefully bringing an update soon.

The update today isn't directly related to Eric's case, but there's no doubt that

it is connected.

I think we made it very clear that we believe that Eric's case had been intentionally

mishandled and covered up by corrupt law enforcement and other officials within Walker County.

While many locals desperately wanted to believe that all that corruption took place during

former Walker County Sheriff, Jim Underwoods, and earlier administrations before Sheriff Nick

Smith was elected.
