I want you to imagine that you are a cell, a tiny little cell of a human body.

Let's call you Ray.

And let's imagine that as the cell named Ray, you have thoughts, dreams, desires, maybe

a little cell best friend, maybe a cell girlfriend or a cell boyfriend, heck maybe you have a

cell girlfriend and a cell boyfriend, maybe you have a pet atom that you're really attached to and

maybe you love your little atom more than you love your boyfriend and girlfriend.

Your life as a cell isn't much, but you like it.

But seeing as you're serving your purpose as a part of a human body, one day you die.

The death is tragic, goodbye pet atom, goodbye cell girlfriend and boyfriend.

Your life as the cell named Ray is over.

But are you really gone?

Or did your matter just change form?

If we zoom out a little, maybe we see that you're a part of a cuticle of a fingernail

on a lady named Janet.

And that cuticle is thriving, it is reproducing new cells and carrying on.

And if we zoom out even more, we might see Janet's thriving finger.

And even further, we might see an alive and thriving Janet.

So maybe you're not that cell after all.

Maybe you and all the other cells are one thing, the same thing.

One person, you're a Janet.

But this isn't quite right to say either, because all of the Janet cells are all also

dying at different moments in time too.
