As I write this, I am 15 floors above the city of Hotlanta.

That's Atlanta for those of us who aren't cool, which

includes me. I just learned about Hotlanda like 10 minutes ago. And I am dreading my

emigration appointment, a few blocks down the street. It happens tomorrow. Or today, since you're

listening to this message on the day. In fact, if you listened the moment this

episode came out, I'm currently in my immigration meeting, sweating bullets, and hoping I didn't

screw up some silly paperwork detail that will delay my return to my pregnant wife, who is presently

15 weeks pregnant, and alone in our home, an ocean away in Newcastle. And I think this makes

for the perfect backdrop to today's bit of the N. Kyridion, Enchiridion 5, which begins with the

infamous line, men are disturbed, not by things, but by the principles and notions which they form concerning things. And let me tell you,

I've got principles and notions concerning the speed and success of the emigration process,

and they are not very stoic, though they are perfectly pro-coptonic in that they're flawed,

and I'm still on the same journey all of you are.
