supernatural stories fresh from the mailbag. For the rest of spooky season, we're going to

tell you Linda's stories. Now, they're short, but they leave a mark somehow. Perfect to tell you

over Halloween. So, don't forget every Monday

and listen to the first of Linda's stories. Dear Steve, my story starts when we bought our first brand new house.

I was pregnant at the time and gave birth to my young daughter not long after moving in.

The house was never really a happy house for reasons I won't delve into.

Adding to the tension, though, were unexplained events.

We often heard footsteps running up and down our driveway at night, which was particularly unnerving as my husband worked shifts, and this usually

happened when he was away. The first strange thing happened when I returned home from taking my

daughter to the clinic. We had a beautiful German

shepherd dog who we all adored. She was highly intelligent and a gentle girl, especially around my

daughter. We walked into the house and as I opened the double glass doors leading into the lounge.

I was shocked to see our TV in the middle of the room.

Now these were the days when televisions were on frame stands, and like today's modern TVs.

I initially thought our dog had moved the television somehow, but logic soon took over,

and I realized how impossible that was.
