I just want to start by saying I am a petty person. I have a streak of petty. We all know this. I own it. And as while many people say, well, you should grow up out of that pettiness. Well, I grew up and so did my petty spirit. And so me and petty, we go together very well. And it's probably not going to change at any point. And I just needed to say that at this moment, because might be possible it might be possible there's a

possibility that i may um i may owe maga an apology i don't know i'm going to work through it out

in this conversation and maybe maybe i will maybe i won't but i just figured i should just say that

but before we get to what i may or may not need to apologize to maga for i want to start by just

saying new york city you need to be aware of what's happening right now. We are in a moment where

what we saw happening in Los Angeles with the flooding of ice and the National Guard and the

local LAPD, which may or may not be a clan adjacent agency. I don't know. It depends on who you

ask. Where we saw how they flooded Los Angeles and they ravaged the community and ravaged the economy and basically sent fear up and down and there were protests and people being arrested and it was all sorts of horrible things. New York City, you should just know that that's coming. You should know that that's coming. According to political ICE is going to, quote, flood the zone in New York City. Trump officials have said that they will be increasing staffing because New York City's counsel blocked them from setting up an office in New York City jails. And so basically New York City is a sanctuary city. It's a part of our constitution and charter. If you don't like it, don't live here. That's how we roll. And so if you got an issue with that, you got an issue with that. But what we also need to be aware of is that what it means is

that NYPD, who was already on one, already on one. In fact, I don't think there's ever been a time where NYPD hasn't been on one. But they're particularly on one right now because we have a black mayor who has not only empowered them by pouring billions extra money, millions of dollars into

their already multi-billion dollar budget, but he has also revitalized strategic reform. has not only empowered them by pouring billions extra money, millions of dollars into their

already multi-billion dollar budget, but he has also revitalized strategic response groups that

were disbanded because of their unconstitutional efforts to devastate black communities and

brown communities with terrible policing practices, practices which would never be implemented

against the whites in New York City. But we already know that this is a mayor who's predisposed to allowing police to basically run roughshod over black bodies.

And so because of that, you need to be aware.

We have this thing in New York City every single year called the West Indian Day Parade.

It's an amazing time.

I love it.

It's fantastic.

It's an amazing gathering of Pan-African Caribbean communities. You've got

every island represented, including Long Island, which contains Brooklyn and Queens.
