So let's get started. It says, dear, done. So I have two friends that I have been friends with for about 30 years. The three of us went to elementary school together and have stayed close ever since. They both mean a lot to me. One of them I'm a little closer to because we grew up next door to each other since we were babies.

She's a good person, but her moral compass can be a little off sometimes. So since we were little girls, I've always been the friend who talks her out of bad ideas.

Recently, my two friends had a falling out. It got so bad and immature that they even went on social media and started going off on each other.

They spread rumors posted unforgivable. They spread rumors posted unforgivable things and it got ugly. I told them both they were acting like fools and decided the best thing to do was just stay out of it.

Now this is where it gets a little complicated. My friend, who is my next door neighbor growing up, works for my other friends husband. So got that. The one friend the two girls are fighting. One of the girls works for the other friends husband.

Well, she thinks it's a good idea to sue our friend, aka her boss's wife. For posting rumors about her on Facebook, pretty much doing the same thing she was doing too.

I know the logical thing is for me to continue staying out of it, but I just don't feel right ignoring it anymore. I feel like this is escalating and I'm scared she's going to lose her job or we'll get counter sued.

She lives in a little town where good jobs are hard to find and she's a single mom.

I want to at least try to talk some sense into her, but is that a good idea? Or should I continue leaving it alone? Any words of advice would be very much appreciated.

I hate social media sometimes because people do things and they act like fools and they regret it later, but guess what? There it is forever and ever for all to see.

So you really have to be responsible on social media and think about what you say and do because it could hurt a lot of people and it could have a lasting effect. That's number one.

I appreciate this girl's sense of loyalty to both her friends and I appreciate her knowing that maybe it's best I stay out of it because three can be a crowd.

You can say words and especially when you put them on social media stuff like that. It's very, very hard to take back.

It's harder to look at something and read it and it's in your face than here at sometimes.

And I just don't understand why they would go there, why they would take it to social media and now you're going to sue this woman.
