Today's talk comes from pastor Louis Giglio.

So we ended last week talking about the reigning Christ

in the midst of his church.

And we were in revelation, just one more time,

just to emphasize, not revelations,

but just one revelation,

revelation chapter one at the very end,

John turns around to see the voice that he hears

as he's been lifted up in

to the very presence of God.

And when he turns, he sees Jesus.

But it's not the Jesus he knew from Galilee.

It's the Jesus from Galilee now risen and raining and he describes him the best he can and it's beautiful

and a little bit terrifying and awe-inspiring because it's not a guy with the robe and the sandals and the lamb over his shoulder

walking you know through a field somewhere this is Jesus who is in charge of everything.

This is Jesus with no rival, with no equal, unquestioned.

This is Jesus not being confronted by the Pharisees or the Sadducees or the teachers of the law.

No one has a question anymore about Jesus.

He's unrivaled in every way.

And he speaks to John because John falls in his presence like he's dead. This is an important part of revelation. So yes, we all have communion with Jesus, a man through the spirit today.
