It's me and Ari and your questions right now. Welcome to the Andy Staples show. Dear Andy Live on tape, but not really on tape because we don't use tape anymore. It's all digital. We will come up with a name for this segment eventually. But for now, the gist of it is, you ask questions,

I answer them. And sometimes I bring in a friend to help answer them. And today, that friend is Ari Wasserman of the Athletic. You know him, you love him unless you're a Michigan fan, and then

you hate him. He covers Ohio State and recruiting for us. And Ari, I deliberately did not pick any Michigan questions today.

There was one.

There was one just straight up, what do you think of Jim Harbaugh question?

And I was like, nope.

I am not risking Ari chasing off of an entire fan base again.

Yeah, well, I just want you to know that it's my goal to one day not be hated by them.

It just happened to be this one point that got blown up over the course of six weeks.

But I want to be known as fair.

I don't want people to hate me, but I think given the fact that that question might have put me in a bad spot, I appreciate you looking out for me.

See, that sort of thing. Now, here's the thing you got to realize as you, as you start talking

about more national topics, it's not that the people who hated you will then suddenly consider

you to be fair to them. It's just that more fan bases will come to hate you. That's how it works.
