What's up, friends, it's E! And welcome to a new episode of Midweek Rise Up. We're going to be doing

something a little bit different this week as our country faces a rise-up moment of its own. And watching

the endless news cycle coverage and seeing the social media postings and hearing the voices of

loved ones and strangers cry out, some in tune and some out of sync.

It was really on my heart to just write a letter to you.

And so as we navigate through this all together, let's just take a deep breath,

put our phone down, and take a moment to reflect.

This is what's on my heart.

To those who know George Floyd personally, to those who don't but stand on their side of the line drawn in the sand.

To those peacefully protesting.

To those destructively rioting.

To the churches that are in need of a revival.

To the churches that are out in the streets praying.

To those who are getting bullied on social media for not speaking up,

but in fact are out on the streets cleaning up the mess left over from the night before

and choosing not to blast it out on digital platforms.

To those who are small business owners that have put their whole life savings into their company

and have lost it all

and can't recover. To those who have first responders in their family that are police officers that

act with dignity and do not abuse their power. To those who are police officers that abuse their power.

To those who sin in their anger. To those who use the words protests and riots interchangeably when they're

not the same. To those who have said the system failed them. To those who are being a voice
