we're going to be talking about DeAndre Hopkins. And if a trade to the Packers could actually

make some sense, more on that momentarily. But before we get there, as we usually do, we have

some news and notes to go over.

And today's news and notes, mostly were about Jerry Gray.

He officially gets a job in Atlanta.

So yesterday we talked about it.

Now it's official, official.

He is the new assistant head coach for the defense for the falcons.

So not a defensive coordinator, not a secondary coach,

not a cornerbacks coach, not a defensive backs coach, not a passing game coordinator, none of it.

He is the assistant head coach with a, it's like slash defense title. So he's going to be

overseeing the defense in some capacity. They didn't give him any specific position.

Basically, he's

going to be second in command on that new defense. So a really good opportunity for Jerry Gray,

understandable why he would want to take that position. It does get that coveted assistant

head coach title as well. So again, kudos to him and appreciate all the work that he is done in

Green Bay. But that does in fact leave a very

big opening for the Packers on their defensive staff, meaning that as we talked about yesterday,
