For those of us who like to interpret things that are on social media, do we have it?

The Instagram story from Deandre Hopkins, which he's working out, and there's video

of Tom Brady throwing a pass.

That looks like Super Bowl 51, but I don't know.

Interpret that as you will.

I doubt that it means that Deandre Hopkins is going to be catching passes from Tom Brady

but he's going to be catching passes from someone not wearing an Arizona Cardinals uniform

because that announced me came on Friday afternoon that the Cardinals unable to trade Deandre

Hopkins will be releasing him and that's where this was pointing.

It looked like it was going to be a trade for a long time.

The problem is an Albert Brewer of SI.com pointed this out a couple of weeks ago.

They couldn't find anybody to take on that salary.

And I think it was Brewer that pointed out in the aftermath of the news on Friday that

once Odell Beckham Jr. got 15 million fully guaranteed for one year, that complicated

the efforts to come up with an acceptable deal with the chiefs or the bills, the two teams

that had been talking to the Cardinals about the trade.

Once Beckham gets 15 and presumably they're trying to squeeze Hopkins to take significantly

less than the 19 plus million he's due to make, that's in everything sideways and no trade.

Nobody wants to take on the contract.

Hopkins doesn't want to take less.

People's either keep him around Chris and pay him and remember we talked not that long

ago.
