committee but I know I'll be a law someday least I hope I'm happy to

Today I'm happy to welcome into the show

Anna Hickey of our 247 Sports Clemson site and it does a great job of covering both Clemson football

recruiting and Clemson football. And of course Clemson in the high state have been big rivals on the recruiting front and in this past season the two played each other in college in the college football playoffs.

So I thought it'd be a great time to have Anna on the show and Anna and I are going to talk both about Clemson, Ohio State recruiting and Clemson Ohio State football and on the field.

So Anna, welcome to this show and let's start with Ohio State Clemson and the Fiesta Bowl.

I know you mentioned to me after that game that Clemson players mentioned what a physical game that was and that High State was a very physical team to play and I just want to go back to the

Feestible and give me your thoughts on that and what you heard from the Clemson

players after that game.

Yeah so it wasn't just the players.

I think Gabo was the first one that said it when we, he kind of hopped on a conference call,

teleconference with the media, to look ahead a little bit to LSU at that point and one of the first things he said was, you know, I hope right now everybody is still in bed and at that point it was like 1 p.m. He I think the coaches are still sore I think that I know the

players are still sore that was one of the most physical games that we've ever been a part of and

then Trevor Lawrence on that same call said it was the most sore he's ever felt a day after a game and kind of like, you know, hats off to Ohio State that game was so tough.

I mean part of that too was how much he ran in

that game but I think too just I don't think it's any secret that Clemson was a

level above its competition in ACC play and then again South Carolina and A&M during the regular season, and then you

get to play Big Ten, Ohio State, and it's just a totally different ballgame.

And that's, I mean, ballgame and that's I mean to me that's objective so I think it was kind of a shot in the mouth a little bit
