The children are allowed to raid the candy supply all while Bill stands by with a lollipop

Lost in thought about the sweet things that the candy man creates if you're not familiar with the movie, Gene Wilder plays a

reclusive candy maker named Willie Wunka who holds a competition for five people to get an exclusive tour of his chocolate factory.

The whole world is desperate to get the golden ticket invitations hidden inside a bar of Wunka chocolate. But don't let the film fool you.

Despite its name, it is not necessarily light fair.

There is always an edge of danger and darkness.

Charlie, who wins one of the tickets,

is not just poor. He and his family aren't destitute.

Although the chocolate factory is creative and amazing, it is filled with traps and tests with children disappearing one by one, never to be heard from again.

And then there are strange little creatures called Umpelumpas that help Wanka create and maintain his world of chaos.

The Candyman in our story today, Dean Coral, helped to run his family's company, the

Coral Candy Company. Children would also flot their after school and Dean would hand out free

candy and encourage the children to hang around. He paid particular attention to the boys that came in and even became like a father figure to some of them.

But like the movie, this candy man's lair was dangerous and filled with traps and he had his own oump oump oumpas that helped him with his deeds.
