Good morning and welcome to our Bible study today, our verse by verse teaching. We're currently in

2nd Thessalonians chapter 3 and Lord willing we're going to actually finish not only the chapter

but the epistle. So for those that are here, I'll ask you to stand. You can follow along as I read.

If you're able, if not where you're seated is fine. And those of you online, you can

follow along as well. The Apostle Paul is writing to the church there in Thessalonica, and in verse 6 says,

In the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, we command you, brothers and sisters, to keep away from every believer who is idle and disruptive and does not live according to the teaching you received from us. For you yourselves, verse 7, know how

you ought to follow our example. We were not idle when we were with you, nor did we

eat anyone's food without paying for it. On the contrary, we worked night and day, laboring and toiling so that we would not be a burden
