In uncertain days, it is important to remember that our world is getting ready to meet God.

Today, we join Scott Pauli in walking through the final book of the Bible, the Revelation

Do you remember when we began our study of Revelation that I said to you, the word

revelation means to take the veil away, literally to pull back the curtain? And of course,

in Revelation, we are looking behind the curtain through divine inspiration to see Christ. It is the

Lord that we get a glimpse of. We've come in our study to

Revelation 12, and in Revelation 12, God pulls back another curtain. We might say a mask. He shows us

in Revelation 12, the devil. You see, we get a glimpse in this book, not only of the true God, the only righteous God,

but we also get a glimpse of this false God, little G, the devil, who tries to usurp his authority,

who tries to thwart God's plans. Praise God, he can't do that. But in Revelation 12, God says, let me show

you the devil. Let me show you Satan. I'm going to pull his mask back and show you what's on the

other side. You remember we've talked about this tribulation period on earth and how the

Antichrist will step onto the scene. Well, he's going to put on quite a show. He is going to put on quite a front.

But behind that mask, behind that front, behind that facade, there is a very real devil.

In Revelation chapter 12, he's identified a particular way. He's identified as the dragon.

Verse 3 says, there appeared another wonder in

heaven and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns and seven crowns upon his

heads. It's a reference to his earthly dominion. Remember, he's the prince, the power of the air.
