| 0:00.0 | Hi, everybody. Welcome to ATA Pod. I'm Danny Vega, joined by two amazing guests today, our recurring hosts, really. I don't even know if you guys are guests. I don't really treat you guys like guests. Not anymore. Clarnah and after pay. No, Radu called Carla Clorna and it's still killing me, bro. It's so funny. Four easy payments. Have you guys ever done one of those? That's not the theme, by the way. I've never done Klarna, but I think I did like the Amazon, whatever. Oh, yeah. Amazon has good ones. I was like, oh, $50 a month for the next however long. Yeah, it's like weird. It's like 18 equal payments of $11. I'm like, yeah. Interesting. That's girl. No interest? I'll be paying this until 2027, honey. But our theme today is sleep. Nap nap, nap. And the mammal sleep. I think a lot of animals sleep. But anyway, I didn't do a lot of research on that aspect of this. |
| 0:56.4 | But yeah, sleeping. |
| 0:58.7 | I love sleeping. |
| 1:00.1 | Are you, how, how, you're about the same age as me, Carla. |
| 1:03.1 | Yeah. |
| 1:03.5 | How long do you sleep every night? |
| 1:06.1 | Between five and six hours. |
| 1:08.3 | Same here, maybe six and a half. |
| 1:10.6 | Yeah, it depends. And then like, talk about how much time I'm in bed. That's different. Right. Are you waking up and doing phone time? Not phone time. I'll, like, stretch in bed or I'll, like, meditate. Sometimes I switch to the other side of the bed where the sun is and I just kind of sunbathe. Wow. Yeah. I hurtle-durkel. That's what they call it. Herkle-durkel. Radu. So much better. Yeah, I have to sleep like eight, nine, ten hours if possible. You're a little younger. You're 31. I immediately wake up and just the horrors of the world through my phone for about 30 minutes to an hour. 30 minutes to an hour you're on your phone. Yeah, there's a lot of news every day. Oh, so you're reading the news. You're not on social media. I'm ignoring all of my texts and social media, and I'm like, what's going on in Turkmenistan? Let's go to the beginning. Let's go to the beginning before we sleep. What is our sleep falling asleep process? Wow, we. Oh, wow, Carla. From lucky, no medication, just tired. You do have medication. Oh, I have like, yeah, I have like three different kinds of sleep medicine. And then I try to cycle them out so I don't get addicted to any particular one. That's good. That's smart. Yeah. I do the same thing with cigarettes so you don't get addicted to a brand, you know? That's really funny. No, I'm not addicted to the cigarettes. I switch them. That's good. That's smart. Yeah. I do the same thing with cigarettes so you don't get addicted to a brand, you know? |
| 2:18.3 | That's really funny. |
| 2:19.3 | No, I'm not addicted to cigarettes. |
| 2:20.3 | I switch them. That's what that works. No, I'm not a camelman anymore. I'm not a camelman anymore. I'm not a same active ingredient. No, not. It's light, one's light, one's light. But either way, I need, if I'm actually doing a good job, I watch TV to go to sleep, which is really bad. |
| 2:35.7 | And my wife hates it. |
| 2:36.3 | Compared to phone, though, I think that's light. But either way, I need, if I'm actually doing a good job, I watch TV to go to sleep, which is really bad. |
| 2:35.7 | And my wife hates it. |
| 2:36.3 | Compared to phone, though, I think that's better. I guess. A lot of people do that. You can turn the blue light off on the phone. But on the TV, you're just fucking, you know. This is called sleep hygiene. Yeah. Yeah. I had a good week where I would like unplug my internet and put my phone in a different room. |
| 2:54.4 | Holy hell. That's nice. If I exercise a lot, I will literally fall asleep within five minutes and that is a really good feeling. I love that. And I love when it's sleep, it's just like my brains is like, we're going to sleep now, dude. That's such a good feeling. Yeah. |
| 3:09.3 | Danger zones. |
| 3:11.3 | Certain kinds of stimulation on the phone. |
| 3:13.7 | I would say watching reels is a little risky. |
| 3:14.1 | Yeah. |
| 3:21.6 | Getting in a comment war, getting into a heated argument, never ever do this before you go to sleep. Reading the comments of your own content. |
