So the day after we recorded this episode that you're about to listen to, we got the sad news

0:05.0

that Anthony Bourdain had passed. And before we start this episode, we wanted to acknowledge

0:10.1

the impact he's had on our career and just our creativity. I followed Bordane's career for

0:16.6

years and was heavily inspired by the work that he made. And I always thought one day that I would

0:22.9

get to actually work with him. There was just something about him where I felt like I related

0:27.8

1:21.4

that we seem to be having more often with the creatives that we work with, and it's just fitting that it happens to be the topic

1:28.8

for this episode of the Colin and Samir podcast.

1:37.7

So today on the show, we are back in Los Angeles after two weeks of being on the road,

1:43.9

and these two weeks started here in L.A. at something called Buffer Festival.

1:49.1

Buffer Festival, if you don't know, is a film festival specifically for YouTubers.

1:54.1

So they debut new videos they have coming out at the festival before it actually comes out on their YouTube channel.

2:01.6

And we've said this across all of our platforms and probably will continue to say it.

2:06.2

I feel like I want to say it to our audience as much as possible so that people hold us
