It was Saturday morning, and I found myself aimlessly scrolling through Instagram, bored out of my mind.

Suddenly, a knock on the door interrupted my monotony. It was my friend's Callum, Ash, Lily, and Rose.

Their faces brimming with excitement. Hey, Hannah, do you want to explore the forest? Callum asked. His eyes gleaming with anticipation.

My initial reluctance surfaced immediately when I asked them if they had heard the news. I told them I had just heard the news that a camper had gone missing in the forest a week ago,

and no one had seen them since.

Callum dismissed my concerns with a wave telling me there was nothing to be afraid of.

There were millions of stupid reasons a camper could have gotten lost.
