Summary

Susan Polk enters into a relationship with her therapist when she is a young girl. Sunday night October 13th, 2002, was the end of a long weekend for Dr. Felix Polk.

His 19-year-old son Adam had arrived on Friday from college to spend the weekend with his parents.

He was also picking up his dog to take back with him to the University of Los Angeles.

On Sunday morning, Dr. Polk and his youngest son, Gabriel, age 15,

awoke very early to make the six-hour drive from O'Rinda, California to Los Angeles to drive Adam

back to college. By the time they returned home that same evening, it was after 10 pm.

Exhausted, Dr. Polk undressed and fell into bed wearing only his boxer shorts.

There was nothing out of the ordinary about the next day, Monday October 14th, at the Polk House.
