It's human nature to want to create change in your life,

whether it's to form a new habit, tame an addiction, or just live a happier and more peaceful life.

Most of us have sought healing in some form at least once in our lives.

That may mean healing from past trauma or current health or psychological challenges.

We may look for help and support with changing or improving our lives through various resources.

Churches, self-help groups and programs, therapists, etc. are always we may approach these journeys

of transformation. In the first episodes in this series,

all detail cases of people who sought help from experts,

but rather than receiving healing and transformation,

their journeys came to an abrupt and deadly end.

In this first chapter, you'll hear how a self-described success coach and guru

required his followers to perform increasingly more extreme mental and physical challenges,

all in the pursuit of enlightenment.
