Minneapolis has erupted into anger following the fatal shooting of a woman by an ICE agent yesterday.

She's been identified as 37-year-old Renee Nicole Good, a U.S. citizen with a six-year-old child.

Good was in her car stopped in the middle of the street when federal officers approached her vehicle and instructed Good to get out of the car. When she started to drive away, an ICE agent fired several times at her vehicle and fatally shot her in the head.

People across the city gathered at the shooting site yesterday, first to protest and then to

honour Good's life in a vigil that filled an entire block.

CNN has reviewed three videos of the shooting, and exactly what took place beforehand remains

unclear.

Homeland Security Secretary Kristy Noem has defended the ICE agent, saying the woman had tried to run over the officer and they were acting in self-defense.

It's very clear that this individual was harassing and impeding law enforcement operations.

Our officer followed his training, did exactly what he's been taught to do in that situation and took actions to defend himself and defend

his fellow law enforcement officers.

But Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey rejected that.

That is bull-h-h-the way they've been conducting themselves is also bull-h-h-k.

Minnesota politicians are blaming the Trump administration, saying its immigration crackdown tactics

led to the shooting. And Governor Tim Walz warns that he's prepared to deploy the state's
