Yeah, I went file diving the other day,

burrowed into a pile of,

I must be hundreds of stories have been privileged to tell on Dateline.

Stories about things,

human beings do to one another,

are capable of doing,

whether we want to admit it or not.

Each of these stories was unforgettable in its way,

and something,

I don't need to look through the file.

I think about them all the time.

Not because they were especially frightening or horrible though,

you know, perhaps somewhere.

Now, the thing that sticks is the amazing,

unexpected stuff that somehow makes it through,

no matter what,

as in this story.
