In life there are deadlines. Today is the deadline for safe harbor. States that

Today I want to talk about two important deadlines. Today is the deadline for

safe harbor in the Electoral College. What that means is the statute, not the

Constitution, the statute provides that any states that certify their electors by today

that Congress can't challenge those electors. It's a safe harbor, but it's not

constitutional, it's statutory, and we'll talk about what that means for

President Trump's efforts to try to undo the election. And then we'll talk about another

deadline. On the day after tomorrow, a potentially innocent man may be executed by the federal government.

And the only person who can stop this unjust execution is the President of the United States

by either commuting the sentence to life imprisonment

without any possibility of parole or by at least delaying the execution
