Just recovering from jet lag, no big deal. We're all recovering from something this week.

And like I said earlier, I, I, I, I, Gead, Rebecca Valentine is, I have my niece recovering from publishing articles and getting engaged.

Hey, we're gonna call it out.

Yeah, congratulations. So tell us the story, if you will.

Oh, my gosh. So we moved in together a year ago and I told him we can talk. We can start talking about marriage after we'd lived together for a year.

So that would have been at the start of October, which I believe at the time of recording this is like two weeks ago, would have been when we could start to have conversations about this.

So I knew I wanted to marry him earlier this year and knew we wanted to marry me.

So my plan was I would start to get in a ring and I started looking into it.

And I was going to propose over Christmas. I figured at that point we will have had a couple conversations.

We'll feel comfortable with it. I had a whole plan. I knew where I was going to do it. We were going to be in Kansas City over the holidays.

That's like where a lot of our dating happened. And so there's places that are special to us. I had a whole plan. I was going to do it.

And then he just starts talking over the summer and starts asking questions and starts saying, hey, like, you know, what if, what if we got, got married or, you know, what if we did that very casually?

And I'm, what am I going to do? Tell him, no, I don't want to marry you. No, I'm not going to say that.

I'm not going to introduce problems into the relationship that don't need to exist. So I tried to hold them off, but eventually it was kind of clear he was thinking about it earlier than I wanted him to.
